Weddings/Matrimoni

Make sure to set the date with the pastor.

The pastor has the right to hear the opinion of the Concistory (board elected by the Church for dealing with spiritual and financial matters) before officiating at weddings of future spouses who do not belong to the Waldensian Evangelical church (Union of the methodist and Waldensian churches).

Nevertheless, those directly interested, and not agencies or hotels, must contact the church.

Only civil weddings are celebrated and the invocation of God’s blessing on civil weddings already celebrated

Concordare sempre prima la data con il pastore.

Il pastore si riserva di sentire il parere del Concistoro (organo eletto dalla chiesa con funzioni di governo spirituale e finanziario) prima di celebrare matrimoni di nubendi che non siano parte della chiesa evangelica valdese (Unione delle chiese metodiste e valdesi).

In ogni caso devono essere i diretti interessati e non agenzie o alberghi a prendere contatto con la chiesa.

Sono unicamente celebrati matrimoni con effetti civili e invocazione della benedizione del Signore su matrimoni già celebrati in sede civile.
